I'm a product designer who creates whimsical, sometimes pensive illustrations and crafts from my Virginia studio.

While my professional background is in the technical (and often serious) fields of cognitive and computer science, I believe creativity is an essential part of our lives, not just a side-hustle or a business tool. Art is a way of thinking and interacting with the world, offering a uniquely human source of joy and expression.

Practicing creativity and nurturing imagination is crucial, especially for those whose daily work doesn't involve it. It allows us to engage with others in fun, sometimes silly ways and appreciate the possibilities around us.
